Rev. Dr. Lajuana Moody Davis is a native of Macon, Georgia.  She is the elder of the two daughters of Pastor and Mrs. Ralph Cherry.  Dr. Davis began in music ministry at the early age of six, and served as musician and choir directress for several local churches in Georgia. She totally committed her life to Christ and began ministering at Women's Retreats and seminars during her freshman year at Florida State University, and has been on the move for the Lord since that time.  She served as full-time Minister of Music for several Air Force Bases, domestically and abroad.

Dr. Davis holds a Bachelors of Science in Criminology, Masters of Science in Human Resource Management, and Doctor of Divinity degrees.  She accomplished further study in theology in Columbia, South Carolina.  Dr. Davis was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in January, 2006, at the New Life Anointed Ministries International in Woodbridge, Virginia, under the pastorate of Bishop Eugene V. Reeves.  During her twenty year career as a civil servant, she has been blessed to minister in five different countries, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Word and in song.

Currently Dr. Davis serves as Co-Pastor of God's House Baptist Ministry in Roanoke, Virginia, where her husband, Rev. Dr. Floyd W. Davis, is the Founding Pastor.  She is the mother of two children, Justin and Peaches, and grandmother of 1, Jaylen.  Dr. Davis' motto for ministry and worship is "Just Giving God what He's due."
